1 Ton POS YJ

I never did just hand bent everything. I gotta figure out real hoops, and a pillar connectors still too.

But if we do have the funds and you wana buy I can totally weld that together for us, wink wink nudge nudge.

As per viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3756 the fund has $217 which I am holding.

NOTE that the bender was NOT purchased with club funds. A bunch of members chipped in outside of club treasury to purchase the bender and 2 dies. These members subsequently agreed to make the bender available to all members.

According to SWAG website the weld-together ram mount is only rated up to 0.120 wall tubing. They make a machined version good for tube with 0.188 wall and thicker. The machined mount is $190 not including the ram.

We are looking at another $100-$150 for air-over-hydraulic ram. I will message the “ownership committee” for their approval.

Sure thing. Let me know. You know how to find me thing you have my cell too

Thinking of doing shock towers like Gene’s, but facing forward since u dont have much rear frame left.

Talked it over with him one issue he pointed out is during droop the shock will try to tilt forward possibly hitting the body on the mount.

With that tacked into place it measures almost perfected for a 14 inch travel Bilstein. Going to order a set and try to cycle the suspension and see what it looks like before I burn it in.

And they’re in.

You’re an animal! Ready for GTD?

Still have to do the rear, but getting closer. That’s what I am hoping to be done for.

Nice. Getting close

Dayum. Just a bit stretched.

They say bigger is better [emoji854] think wheel base is around 122inchs now. Need to measure again when it’s down on it’s own weight.

Got tired of moving axles around the shop so I built this today.

Stop hording axles.

[emoji1787] I know the addiction is strong. But I got those superduty tons for pennies.

They’re for other peoples projects. I was just tired of them being in my way.

I did get wheel bearings and my locking hubs on. Need to get my rotors cut.

Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Getting the rotors cut tomorrow, new rotors are like 100 bucks a pop! SCREW that!

Working on my A pillar to Shock hoop tie ins. Passenger side I think I’m going to have to shift the battery over/run it inside the jeep. HVAC box will be removed, thinking of running one of those little heater boxes or just no heat at all. I doubt this thing will ever be out in the cold again.

I’m a cheap prick and couldnt find anyone to turn these rotors. Cleaned them up with some cookie wheels and painted the hats.
