Just wanted to jump on and say hi to everyone . My name is Steve and I just bought my first jeep About six months ago. I’ve wanted to join a club for sometime now (even before I bought the jeep) and was happy to find
one right here in RI. I look foward to getting to as many events as possible and to meeting everyone in person. Thanks
Welcome!!!
Welcome to the forum.
welcome. what are you driving and what plans do you have for it?
Welcome to the forum, Steve. How’d you hear about us? Hope to see you out at an event soon.
Welcome, check the events calendar and come out and play
03 TJ Sahara stock (sort of) it has the upgraded rear dana 44 with trac-loc and 4 wheel disc brakes. 4.0 auto.
as far as mods go is there enough room here lol…
33" or 35" tires (not sure yet)
2" body lift
3-4" suspension lift
lockers front and rear
custom bumpers front and rear
winch
rock sliders
upgraded transfer case
tube fenders
Belive it or not i think it was you tube. I have been watching off road videos on You Tube for a little while now with mostly a focus on those featuring jeeps. put in a search for off roading in RI and found osj.
Welcome to the group Steve, you should be able to have some fun with that. Before you get too deep into the mods, come to a couple events - talk to the TJ owners and check some of them out. It’ll give you some great direction.
Yeah I hear you brian. That is basically a long term wish list.
Welcome and good luck on your new toy.
welcome to the group

Welcome
Welcome!!
welcome to the forum!! My advice would be get out with what you have and think long and hard about the upgrades and what your plans are with the Jeep. I started on 33s and went up to 35s after a few years. Is your Jeep a daily driver? you can certainly live with 35s on a DD but will need to regear if you do any highway use, also I didnt really start breaking things until I went to 35s… good luck and again welcome!
