If anyone is around Friday I will be repairing a broken rear upper mount that I tore off at the last run I was at. I had temporarily fixed it but it broke again today since the frame is really rotted in that area. I will be installing the trailing arm frame repair kit from Safe-T-Cap as I did for the other side… I also need help finding an annoying clunk that happens mostly when accelerating in reverse. Its not the normal “clunk” you get when shifting from reverse to drive but it could be the same problem??..
If this gets done quick enough then I want to start cutting out the rotted body support panels on Jen’s TJ. This is the frame section under the body that mounts to the chassis. I have good parts from Jeeps unlimited that need to be welded in and a few other odds and ends…
