Is it just a matter of replacing distributor with cam sensor setup?
you can make work but it depends on year. 03-06 wrangler and 99-04 wj use the same block only because the motor mount/accessory bosses are different. if you have and earlier year you can put in a distributor engine. my 2000 xj (which uses coil pack) has a 95 (distributor) block and head.i made little brackets to hold on the coil pack been running it for 8 years no issues. its actually the best thing ive ever done to the jeep the older 7120 heads are way more stout.
