Story of the Little LJ in OSJ

TeraFlex 1" Body Lift ordered

Going to order a Brown dog MM lift also today

So far so good… same as mine.

all you need now is the 6" steel F/R flat fenders, rear bumper with carrier, and LCG 4" lift and they would be twins (minus the lockers and tire size…)

Can’t wait to see it installed Matt!

Don’t forget to throw money at the brakes early in the process. LJ is heavy and 35’s tax the brakes (even with the discs…)

Black Magic brake pads and centric rotors are a big upgrade over stock. For superior stopping power, Saavy makes a BBK, but it’s something like $1400 per axle I think so maybe it’s overkill.

I’m running centrics with hawk pads 4 wheel disc and with the 37’s it’s ok, but not ideal.

I have some spare centric rotors that came with my buy if you want to look into it.

He makes quite a few deliveries here too!

So i talked to Jeff, what year xj should i look for a front drive shaft for my LJ with the sye installed?

Earlier model, late 90’s early 2000 with an automatic I believe. Just wait for the next pick and pull 1/2 off event. $25. Or call up jeeps unlimited

Ummm. how about throwing $20 in the tom woods driveshaft gift cert bucket? Bring your girl and have her babysit your tickets. Last year one guy gutted those prizes with a $20…

Not sure how big of a rush you are in, but I think that would be worth it.

Who needs a lift

Double dually? … if not I’d say Matt needs a lift!

I miss my TS… That winch is awesome. buy yourself a $25 cover from amazon to keep the ice from the spool and it should last you a long time. Also check the controls. Mine had a bad wire on the “in” wire or a fouled contactor. The remote was the issue, but it was an easy fix.

4" Iron Rock Ultimate Lift
1" Tera Flex body lift.
1" Big Dog Motor Mount lift
Ten Factory front Chromoly
Detroit front locker
35" MTRs
Poison Spyder Sliders

All installed at Barrette Fabrication. Rides perfect. (Stupid tube bumpers won’t be on for long.)
