Didnt come with a top but did come with hard doors and soft doors. The kid didnt know what he had and i chewed him down to 4300 bucks. I had a mechanic go over it with a fine tooth comb and its got rust but nothing thatwill prevent it from passing inspection. So let the discussion begin. Did i get a good deal? is it a pile?

Well, there’s an issue already!
The Clayton suspension sells for $2,700 so I’d say $4,300 was a pretty good deal.

Turns out i dont think its a clayton kit but long arms none the less, good ones at that. Its not in bad shape should pass inspection other then the no cat thing. Its def ready to wheel minus the top cause I drove it tonight and it was cold. Its been beat on a little but the long arms are new and i can tell the guy whom owned prior ran leafs in it at one point and it hasnt been inspected in mass since 05 so it was a trailer rig for the last few years. Im registering it monday so whens the next trail ride?
If it’s a TJ it didn’t have leafs unless someone changed it to them( but why would you)!
If its definitely a 98 then it did not come from the factory with leafs. But there is a whole lot of stupid out there . . .
