RTI Ramp

Steel fenders as suggested by Jay:

Scissor jack that meets the spec’s:

Does anybody have a spray gun we can use to paint this thing? It does not need to have a show quality finish but we should be able to do a better job than spray-bombing it. And for less $.

If know one has one, i can get one, and maybe a gal of army green paint if you dont mind the color

I 2nd the army green color

But green is not one of the club colors. Not that it matters that much. Green is probably as easy to maintain as anything.

And its FREE!!

and it’s army green

I could use another coat

I have a paint gun

Our RTI ramp is about the become a reality! Dimensions for all the parts are in-hand and cutting wheel will meet steel this weekend. The plan is to assemble this thing at Paul’s within the next couple weeks. Members should keep their eye on the event forum for a tech day announcement.

I have a head start on the frame. Where can I drop the frame work steel? Any plans for this weekend

Almost done:

whats the status here? when do we plan to get back there?

Next Tuesday night. See thread in the Events forum. Bring beer.

Any updated pictures since last tuesday or did you mean for this tuesday/today?

Thanks to Heather and David for donating tires:

Torsion axles are ordered and should be here within the week. This thing should be rolling soon!!

Wow thank u heather and dave

thanks guys! now let order the rest of the parts and put this thing together

Chris ordered the torsion axles last week. They are built to order and it supposedly takes 5 days to have them ready for shipping.

The remaining parts needed are:

1.) Coupler - $20
2.) Fenders - $12 ea
3.) Lights - $50 for LED, $25 for standard

At some point it would be nice to add a little fold-up table for scoring, a stick-on tape measure, and some sheetmetal w/ our logo.

I would be willing to paint the logo onto some sheet metal. Just let me know how big we need it to be.
