If you want to do cutouts then you can take the ones from my old jeep.

dose it keep the factory look? and how hard will it be to pull

You saw them when you pulled transmission. You can probably find pictures in the picture forum. The stock rockers are cut out and replaced. Its not a trivial job but worth the effort. I guaranteed there is major rust inside the stock rockers.

mine is clean I look at that befor I bought it. and my jeep come up here from Denver. there is no rust on this thing. I want to keep a factory look

mine were nice and clean when i bought it too. it only took a few wheeling trips to fix that.

one of the best things i did was cut the old rockers off and weld in 3x3 square tubing. the rock sliders that go on top of the factory rockers are just a band aid. in my opinion.

eric are the sliders welded in or bolted on?

They are welded in.

Even if the rockers look good from the outside I can guarantee you they are rusting at the a-pillar. It has nothing to do with road salt. There are hoses (AC?, cowl?) running inside the rockers. They made a change between 96 and 98 so the 98’s are particularly bad. I spent months searching for my current rig and paid blue book price because it was rust free. . . until I took the fenders off and discovered the pillars were gone almost up to the lower door hinge!

yup there are not only sun roof drains going in that area of the a pillar but also those stupid sound deadening sponges that hold dirt and moisture.

That explains it. My 98 has the sunroof.
