I think it would be cool if there was a pinned thread in one of the sections where we can post pics of junkyards finds and vehicles for part out. I would be willing to post pics of stuff i find on my trips to the junkyards every saturday morning
For example i say a TON of nice yj parts at henrys last sat…would love to help out some people that need this stuff.

I’m always on the look out for YJ parts. Is there a list of junkyards on the forum anywhere or where is good for picking. I’m looking for a rear axle for my YJ. I was planning on rebuilding the front D30 with a locker and 4.10’s. If I can find a rear D44 with 4.10 already installed that would be a big help. Who knows when this will all happen but I figure why not start looking now.
where is henrys?
look for a ford 8.8, pretty easy to find already geared with 410s…got mine for $125

i had tp jack the truck up enough so i could work under used a driveshaft to keepit up and put the tires too safety first LMAO

Henry’s has a lot of Cherokees and grand Cherokees, not much for wranglers though
have you been recently they have 3 or 4 wranglers there now. most pretty complete. Its very rare to see any wranglers in junk yards these days
im planning a trip to the pick n pull in cumberland sat morning. i havnt been there in a few months but i had a friend scout it out for me yesterday says there are two 97+ xjs there that were not there before. I will also plan on going to freetown auto salvage on sunday.
what time are you going, mind if i tag along?

there is a new complete YJ at henrys (black) its a 2.5 standard although the motor and tranny were removed…I scored the rear window hatch with wiper/defrost off the hard top for $25 
got to go into harry halls today. he was parting an m715 and ray and i went down there to grab a few parts for his build before they crushed it. Harry’s got a few yjs and a few cherokees. nothing to special aside from a HUGE monster lifted xj. Its got long arms but looks to be on stock axles.
went to sims the other day and saw the johnston pick and pull is hauling in cars to start their inventory. no jeeps yet but ill keep sneaking peaks!
