Ocean State Jeepsters 7th Annual Toy Run & Food Drive 12/4

Please join Ocean State Jeepsters on Dec 4th, 2016 for our 7th Annual Holiday Toy Run & Food Drive. This event will feature a day long trail ride at a private property located on the RI/CT border. Participants are asked to donate a new unwrapped toy and non-perishable food item which will benefit the East Bay Community Action Program and Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

Space is limited to 50 vehicles and all drivers must preregister for this event using event page. Trail options range from stock to well-built. All vehicles must be equipped with frame-mounted front/rear recovery points and will be presorted into groups based on specifications supplied during the registration process. Due to the narrow winding nature of these trails we do not recommend full-size vehicles or pickup trucks.

Sorry guys and gals but we wont be able to make it this year.
Last year we brought the pick-up truck and we filled the truck full of toys and then we delivered them too.
Someone else will need to do the honor this year.
Just giving a heads up so someone can bring a truck or van for the job.
We are sending our food and toy donation with Gene.

Thanks so much to everyone who put on this great event. It was great to see the generosity of the participants, evidenced by the abundance of toys & food donations. My family had a wonderful time. I would also like to thank Eric for being such a great spotter for group 2. We got to break in our rock sliders and use our winch for the first time. I can’t wait till tax returns when we can hopefully afford to put in a lift and bigger tires :mrgreen: It was such a rush and beautiful property. I saw several people taking pics…will any be posted here? I would love to see them.

I am really looking forward to our future when we are accepted as prospective members and can wheel again with you all and get to know more of the members better. :smootch:
