i’m looking to get some 1" mm for a tj 4.0. i figured i would check to see if anyone had any laying around before i bought some…
i have some jks 1" mm lift blocks at work. If you want ill see if i can dig them up.
how much and i have been looking at the kits and it looks like it comes with a special bolt do you have that also or know where i can get it …thx
i believe i have the blocks but no bolts,. you could use a good quality graded fastener from anywhere really. pretty much anything besides china crap is stronger than stock. ill look for them tomorrow at work.
thanks let me know how much
check brown dog industries
Derick they don’t sell just the bolt ext. i went on jks and they sell them for $12ech…does anyone know the nut thread size and pitch. so i can go to fastall to see if they have something
No luck on these buddy sorry i know they are somewhere but i couldnt find them this morning.
no worries. i’m going to order some in the spring.i was just checking just in case someone had them lying around and wanted to make a few bucks…
just get the brown dogs or the bomproof 1" motor mount lifts. just be careful putting them on because you could pinch some wiring where the tranny and tub meet.
I’d recommend getting the engine brackets as well. Over time the stock engine brackets will eventually fail and you’ll be replacing those as well…I’ve been there
Thx guys. And jay I was thinking the same thing
I have brown dog mm now, and just ordered again for my engine swap. Customer service has been great as I had a warranty type issue…they replace pass side no questions asked. Engine bracket did break about 6 months after mm install, and ended up doing their bracket…cost about the same but felt as if I was doing the job for the second time. Overall, it’s a pretty easy job
What did u go with the rubber or the poly. I’m pressed for cash. I need to fix some frame issues and gearbox started to leak also fixed the seal on the tranny and found out I need to fix the lines. Dame rust…so I might hold off on the brackets this year. Really want to spend the money on a sye and a drive shaft. That’s my to do list before GOtopless. Oh ya the body lift it just picked up.
i’d recommend doing it right and go with the super short SYE. might cost more but better for the driveline. you can save yourself some money by finding a front driveshaft from a Cherokee and having it shortened
You have a 4cyl or 6?
I have a 6cyl
I found terflex supper short with TW shaft for $530 shipped what do you think.

Tad,
I went with the supper short from JBConversions… jbconversions.com/products/s … rt_sye.php Its a complete kit minus the driveshaft. Pick up a front driveshaft from an XJ and then have it shortened locally.
Ya the Avanced one was like 300 but you might pay another 100 + to get the driveshaft done up. Kind of a toss up.
