Looking for Mechanic for Check Engine Light

Hi All,

I am planning on taking the Jeep down to Rausch Creek on Friday for Women’s Wheeling Day this weekend and Chris came home and told me the Check Engine Light came on tonight. He doesn’t want me taking the Jeep so far without getting it checked out and fixed but I only have Thursday to get it done since I am working tomorrow and need to find someone to hopefully fix it so I can still go on the trip. He said the code is P0128 and he thinks that means there is something wrong with the thermostat??? Is there anyone on here who is a mechanic and can work on it on Thursday or know of a place to call? It is a '12 JKUR.

Thanks,
Lisa

P0128 is thermostat rationality. Coolant temp too low or not warming fast enough. Thermostat stuck open/partially open (or low coolant) or coolant temp sensor. Both relatively simple fixes.

Maybe hook up with Mike Landon or Ricky or Chris Vigue.

Thanks so much for the response. I’m glad it is nothing too major. We called a local mechanic and hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow so I can make my trip to Rausch this weekend.
