So I have had this jeep for over a year and have just about completely neglected it until now. Bought it stock with 120k a pos 2.5 block suspension lift practically falling apart with some worn down 31s
Couldn’t really find a good picture but that’s the gist, bone stock.
So while my tires and lift were in order I decided to do some chopping to those stock fenders
A little bit of painters tape a ruler and a harbor freight oscillating multi tool and voila
I did put the painting on hold for awhile until I had the proper amount of time.
Next I decided it was time to freshen up my old rusty rocker guards. At first I thought a little sandpaper would do the trick but 3 hours later I discovered I was very wrong.
The struggle came with the cheap paint applied directly over the factory coat without any sanding or priming done. These things were a complete mess. But with the help of a few 4.5" grinder attachments it became a lot easier
So not sure why the pictures uploaded in reverse order but I guess that’s what I’m going with for now lol. Somewhere in here you will see 2 bare metal rocker guards ready for paint and than the finished
product. Rustoluem Hammered does do a pretty good job
So now putting all of that to the side, the tires and lift showed up finally. Was pretty interesting packing all of the nonsense. I also just had to line up the new wheels to see how she would look.

Now that all of the pieces arrived it was time to have a lift party with Matt here in the club. Hats off to him, without him this would of never have been done. Here’s a few install pics of the 3.5" RE super flex, billstein shocks and adjustable track bar. There was a point in time when things went down hill and I was too frustrated to keep taking pictures
So after 13 hours of fun, 6 Home Depot runs, a couple busted knuckles and a few burns from hot metal shavings here is the finished product 
Jeep looks great. Now time to get in the woods and bag it up on the rock and add some mud 
You forgot to add a bloody nose from a shock bolt falling and whacking me right in the nose
