Jk dana44 front rubicon axle

Just picked up a rubicon front axle. It came to me with no axle shafts or steering knuckles. I tested the locker and works great. Now my question is how do I make sure the axle tubes and c’s are straight before I dump a bunch of money into it? Also how can I tell the gear ratio without axle shafts or without pulling the diff apart right now? I counted 82 teeth on the ring gear.

My plan is to build it like I did my 30 (truss, c gussets, diff cover, and chromoly shafts) any other suggestions?

Thanks

82 teeth on the ring gear ? the ring gear should be stamped with numbers that can tell you the ratio with quick division of the smaller number into the larger. As far as knowing if its straight or not that is good idea to have it checked first for sure but its not an easy process to do. I would add sleeves to it as well as truss to add strength as well.

Bring it to Barrette Fab in Warwick. We have a Lazer we can put on it.
