High strength metric hardware

I need some high-strength metric hardware to bolt on my engine mount bracket and track bar bracket. Converting to SAE hardware is not an option since most of the bolts go into nutserts either welded onto the brackets or inside the frame. Who the hell thought the metric system was a good idea anyways?

I went to Gomer Depot & Blowes and all they have is grade 8.8 metric hardware which is not even equal to Grade 5 SAE. I need metric grade 10.9 for these critical components. Anybody know where I can get this hardware locally? Like tomorrow or Friday morning?

The only place I know that might have what you need is OSSCO on Elmwood Ave in Cranston. But I would try to call them first if you have to go that route.

There’s a place near me that will have what you need. It’s called Aquidneck Fasteners.

There’s also Pioneer Heavy Duty Parts in seekonk that will have them.

Might have a better chance with pioneer, they seem to stock allot of metric sizes.

Thanks guys! I’m going to check these places out today.

also a place in warwick off jefferson blvd called fastenal (401) 736-5734 i get a lot of stuff there
