Hello Jeepsters

My name is Ryan and I’ve just recently bought my first jeep after a year of pretending my 2wd chevy silverado was a wrangler  I just finished high school and plan to do some serious wheelin this summer.

Besides being a jeep enthusiast, I enjoy the outdoors and am an avid music lover. I play the double bass (hence the name) and am attending the hartt school of music this coming fall in west hartford Connecticut.

I still have a lot to learn about wheelin and consider myself a beginner, but I do want to get more into jeeping and I feel like I got a good rig that’ll go as far as my experience lets me take it. So, I thought it was time to look into a club and after meeting a few nice ocean state jeepster folks at go topless day this year I figured I’d see what this club was all about.

Hope to meet you all soon!

Welcome Ryan.

You mean double bass drum like Slayer?

No, though I do dig slayer! I meant the double bass as in the big old violin looking thing that stands upright, kinda like a oversized cello

We have a great local wheeling trip this sunday its a good starter trail u should come with or with out a jeep their is always a empty seat gor u to jump in and fill if you wish

Hey welcome aboard. How did you find out about us?

Welcome to the forum, Ryan! Did you have a great time at Go Topless Day? WE sure did!

PS: fellow music lover - I play piano (have been playing since I was almost 5 years old).

welcome to the forum Ryan, this is a great time of year for us and you definitely wont have a shortage of chances to test out the 4wd

Welcome to the group Ryan, hope to meet you at an event soon.

PS - Don’t ever bring your double base to a camping trip, after a few coolies some of the guys will look for ANYTHING made of wood to make the campfire bigger! :astonished:

Welcome to the forum.
