Frameless Soft Top Advice on TJ

I’m replacing my factory soft top with a new frameless one and narrowed my search down to these 2.

Rampage 109735 Trail Top Frameless/Bowl​ess Sailcloth
and
Bestop® 56820-35 Black Diamond Trektop™ NX Complete Replacement Soft Top with No Doors Included- Tinted Windows- 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler (except Unlimited)
The Bestop is about $200 more and that leads me to believe is probably better quality?

Has anyone had any experience with these tops?

Any advice would be appreciated!

I believe barefootbob has the best top try to pm him he’s in and out of the contry a lot

Not sure about the comparison, but in general if you like to go topless frameless is a pain in the ass. In order to not snap and be real noisy they are very tight and only go on if it is warm.
I’ll try to post more later. I think my son had a rampage on his 4dr JK

I hear the same… I just ordered the Besttop Trektop NX. It’s arriving this Saturday. I’ll try to install it on Sunday, hopefully all goes well.

I want to keep an eye on this. I need a new top for my TJ, and am not sure what direction I am going to go yet.

Just installed the new top today. I am pleased so far! Not to difficult to install especially in the warmer weather. The BestTop Trektop NX kit came with everything needed for the install, even if you don’t have the factory soft top. Tested on the highway and found it pleasantly quiet compared to the factory top. I’ve attached a few pictures.

YES!! Event tinted my visibility is good!
