I bought some diamond plating. .what we be the best way to secure it to the rocker?
[size=150]IMO have it bent 90 degrees, cut notches on the bottom part and cut an equal amt to the thickness of the steel from the rubber on your body mounts then slide it in and secure it. The upper part just drill and bolt on. Best to countersink the bolts so they don’t get rubbed off. At least that’s how most rock sliders go on.[/size]
It came pre bent to fit over door sills…I was going to use button head stainless steel bolts along with some of this special type of silicone from ge…it won’t shrink or crack…it’s heat and freeze proof.
mine have a plate on the interior side of the tub to offer addition support. pop riveted on the underside and through bolted through the tub
