Anyone know of a good person or shop that can do a clutch job at a reasonable price. Also have an OME 2.5 lift I might as well add to the mix cause I’ll never get to it myself.
Define reasonable? I’d expect to pay $800-$1000 to get the job done correctly. Midland in Coventry does all my transmission work.
At normal labor rates I would expect another $600-$1000 for lift kit install.
I am a technician so I can do it at my place and if you buy ask l all need parts. Like fly wheel friction plate throw out barring. I will be able to put it in. And what is the problem?

Eric - Reasonable is right about where you landed $ wise - and I appeciate your “getting it right comment” gotta remember that side. Of course I’m looking for the deal - you know the guy next door - wife is giving me dollar grief.
Animal33zj - It’s still enganging but only at the very end of the pedal. You can only get reverse if you turn the jeep off and then engage the gear and then start her up…and then let it out slowly. So the clutch works but its incredibly stiff and will grind with minimal pressure. I can drive it down the road a 100 ft but its ugly.
on the floor or all the way off the floor. sounds like the slave cylinder is going bad or is air bound. but either way the trans needs to come out so mine as well replace all unless clutch was done recently
Ricks auto service in Cumberland. I work there, and I’m actually doing my clutch there soon on my yj. We can get a full clutch kit with slave cylinder for 180$. I don’t remember what the labor is for that job.
