Shop or person to do gears?

I replaced my 35 (had issues) with a JY 8.25… only to find out this one has chatter/growl on Decel. Oh well :frowning: . I did the brakes, prepped, painted, and put time into this unit so I’m not going to replace it again. I will just to the gears and call it good.

So with that said, anyone have a good shop to do the gears ? I’m in Hope Valley, RI

I am still running 3.55 gears with a 235 tire. Should I bother changing the ratio ? (I do have a small budget)

Thanks for the advice,
Jon

P.S… I know I don’t post much or attend events. I own a small business and am always working. I will try to make time.

Ricky does them

i use prior service on charles street. just my experience.

i do gears :sunglasses:

You have a PM Ricky.

Thanks

I plan on having Bill do mine when I get to it. I would give him a call and ask. 831-9128

If you are still running stock tires (235) keep it at 3.55. If you p[lan on growing to bigger tires than yes re-gear but Bill will advise you what is best for your configuration.

Of course a re-gear is the time to do lockers . . . . how deep do you want to go?
