leaf springs for 5.3 swap?

Thanks for all the info guys. I will see what I can do about getting the drag link and pitman arm out of each others way. Here’s another picture over near the wheel. The yj drag link is not connected at the knuckle though, only the tie rod does. they attach to each other. drive.google.com/open?id=1DgA91 … xyc8D8ILzl

Not a fan of the inverted t steering. Upgrade to a crossover system.

That’s the one I bought. Easy to install. But I haven’t put it to use yet

Well one thing I figured out that might help a bit is that if I just spin the tie rod forward 90 degrees so the drag link is in the front instead of on top, they shouldn’t bump into each other as much with up and down travel. Like this picture, ruffstuffspecialties.com/ca … 0LARGE.jpg

I have a 92 YJ and my setup is exactly how you described if you rotate forward 90°.

So to follow up, I put add aleafs in front and turned the tie rod forward and things are much better. It sits level with no front sag, and the tie rod and drag link are out of each others way. pics.drive.google.com/open?id=1PkzOk … SSwymhsPit

Through the whole range of travel?

Well I haven’t been able to test the up and down travel yet, but just looking at it since I rotated the tie rod forward 90 degrees( like it was supposed to be. Previously I had the connection at the top of the tie rod.), so when they move up and down they will miss each other, now that they are side by side. Not sure if I’m explaining myself correctly. Anyway less bumping under there now and my rig is level.
