I agree I had them too, remember the ear piercing sound when I broke the first one at Paul Bailey’s . They are great for a mall crawler but you can’t lean on them.
Sigh. But I don’t want to spend $1300 on fender flares.
You want Cheep…don’t buy a Jeep!

Trust me, the thought has occurred to me.
Any opinions on the Xenon flares?
I agree with previous posts about getting a set of stock takeoffs from a JK and trimming them if your looking for a less expensive solution. But if your set on getting aftermarket, I was seriously considering MCE’s right before I crushed a rear quarter against a tree, but then decided to go with full armor wrap. The MCE’s come with a lifetime “no crack” warranty and are designed to be flexible in cold weather.

I was looking at those last night, actually. The truth is I’m one part dexterity-challenged, one part lazy. I really just want to do this once. MCE is right in the price range I had in mind and with that warranty. I was also looking at the Poison Spyders last night and thinking of getting them coated by line-x. I have a little thinking to do before I pull the trigger.
Thanks again to all of you who have helped out and offered advice. It’s very much appreciated.
I decided on the MCE flares, and added a couple of skids to the order because - you know you’d have done the same thing.
I have the poison spyders, I used rustoleum truck bed liner with satin black over the top. They look great and are easy to touch up
