Crawling for a Cure: Oct 26, 2013

Ricky and I booked a room there for friday night as well. You probably wont miss our big yellow heep lol

0530 it is.
See you there, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!

there is trailer parking over at the Polar Caves which is a 2 min drive from the Farm if anyone needs it… You folks totally rock!! :sunglasses:

I am up for this because I will be headed up on Friday night. I plan on being in Rumney at a hostel farm just a few miles from the event the night before. Let me know please on the meet up place and time please.

I’m confused. The meet up place(s) and time(s) are mentioned in the posts above. What else are you looking for?

may I make a suggestion. I spoke with the people at backwoods farm yesterday and also Jeff about trailer parking. all over flow trailer parking is going to be at polar caves which is two minutes down the road they said the trailer parking at the farm is brutal and I’m going to park at polar caves and unload can we just make the meeting spot at the polar caves instead of driving four miles to parking lot to unload to drive back a mile to the farm just a suggestion

Sounds good to me. I will update previous post asap.

I always double think things I will be at Wal-mart. You can ignore the Let me know comment.

NOTE that there has been a change in the NH meeting spot. Instead of Wal-Mart we will now be meeting at 9:00 am in the Polar Caves parking lot. See map in above post.

I strongly recommend you park trailers at the Polar Caves as the climb out of the parking area can be difficult if your tow rig is not 4wd and parts of the entry way to the main parking area are steep. I would not want to drag my commander and trailer up the hill and the manager of the Polar caves has a nice JK on 35s so he does not mind helping out as this is off season for him.

I will be @ the 95 meet up spot @ 530am.

Noted and will adjust in the morning.

We have the silver Tj we can meet in the am if you want and travel to the polar caves to meet the rest . Let us know

So where are you guys???

I’m still on the road. Eta less than an hour. Rough nite.

Jeff and team have started a great thing and I’m glad we could be a part of it.

I am glad you folks made it! Really would love feedback the good the bad and the ugly as well. We know we really blew it with the shirts but plan to make more ASAP. We had a snafu with the original vendor not getting the design when we thought he had and had to go with an alternate and with the names on the back of the shirt being pressed vinyl it took considerably longer to press than expected and was too late to screen at that point. :frowning: Next year we will be locking the design and name submission down much earlier. We also need better organization with the trail rides and plan to install a big board down in the parking area with a property map and a schedule of events etc as a lot of folks didn’t notice the one we were handing out at the gate.

All in all we were very pleased with attendance and had over 250 people turn out to support the cause and over 100 rigs! :sunglasses:
will load various pictures to Photobucket and post them here soon. Feel free to message me with any thought, suggestions or criticism!

It was a Great event :sunglasses: Sarah and I had a lot of fun and meet some really great people.

I hope that next year the trails would have so challenging options and we would love to see a bigger rock garden.

More difficult trail/rock garden options is the only suggestion I would have as well.
