Great to be here! Thanks! I actually heard about this site thru a couple of members that I met last early spring. I can’t remember their names, but I bet they’d remember me. I went out to Tiverton and bought a 2.5 off em’ and I took it away in the back of a Honda civic!!! Having it rebuilt as we speak. I know, everyone says just get a six, but hey, it was a good deal!

HAH! That’s me alright!!! Yeah, I’m having it rebuilt at R and R in Warwick right now.
Did you ever get it installed
It’s at R&R in Warwick being rebuilt right now. Not sure if I’ll put it in right away when I get it back in a few weeks. I might just wait til next spring, and get what I can out of this rattle-trap motor that’s in it right now.I’d like to install new exhaust,headers and such, and maybe some nice brown dog motor mounts too when I do the install, depending on how much money I have.
Do yourself a favor, and do the engine swap over the winter. Whenever you start something in the spring, it always takes twice as long, and you miss a whole lot of wheeling time. Ask me how I know!

Last year, a three-week spring over conversion, with axle swap turned into a 3 month project. The year before, a three-week engine swap, turned into a 4 month ordeal.
I missed a lot of good wheeling the last two Springs because of this. Break it down in December, January, and February. When you won’t be missing anything. If you don’t have a garage, dress warm, and do it outside. I did most of my engine swap outdoors.
